In December 2000, I graduated from Penn State with a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science. In May 2005, I graduated from The Johns Hopkins University with a Master of Science degree in computer science.

I study/practice Japanese tea ceremony in the Urasenke tradition. I'm also studying Japanese online at YesJapan.com. I've learned to read and write hiragana and katakana, but I know only a few kanji so far.
